There is information about the London Open Tournament (Dec 28-31) at http://www.britgo.org/tournaments/logc
As I write, there is dorm accommodation available at £20 a night. By mid November we can expect that the International Students House will have details of more accommodation when they know how many students will be vacating their rooms over the Christmas holiday.
The price to enter this tournament is very reasonable but the discount for early entry ends on November 1'st. There is no need for an up front payment. If you are unsure of your grade please enter at a provisional grade - you will be able to discuss this at formal registration on Dec 28'th.
The International Students House is an attractive venue with large playing areas and a room for talks and game reviews. We will be able to use the canteen and bar. This is an excellent event where you will be able to meet players from the UK and abroad.
