IGS, WBaduk and Tygem all have free Android clients.
Unfortunately only IGS and WBaduk seem to offer an English version but
the Tygem client looks very nice. Hopefully there will be an English version
of the Tygem client for Android soon.

Maybe KGS can learn from them and start offering a free android
client as well, otherwise people might feel compelled to switch from
KGS to those other servers if they play/observe frequently on their
smartphone or tablet.

Yeah, I'd hate to see KGS fall obsolete because they refused to
cater to the mobile market. It's great to have such a popular
go network available.

It is automatic. Service operators who listen to their users
will cater to their needs. Arrogant ones will not, which is a
sure recipe for ultimate failure.

While it may not be free, the Android KGS client is very good and
certainly worth the couple of bucks (especially since those couple of
bucks also grant a few free months of KGS+).

Other than possibly Tetsuki, it's miles and miles ahead of any of the
other Android offerings. I don't think the price is what causes its
"downfall" to competitors (although Nova just being better might :))

Cheers,
Adrian
